Vocalist Chity Somapala No Longer Working With DOMAIN On New Album; Band Seek Singer
German power metallers DOMAIN, who recently released their 20th anniversary album Stardawn via LMP, announced back in May that they had started work on their upcoming album with recent additions Chity Somapala (ex-FIREWIND, AVALON, FARO) on vocals and Steven Wussow (SHYLOCK) on bass guitar.
The band has since issued the following message:
"Unfortunately, because of appointment and contract-related differences, the intended cooperation between Domain and Chity Somapala on the upcoming album, which will be released in spring 2008, had to be canceled in the short term.
After two conjoint shows, the parties separated amicably, which gives rise to the fact that Domain is still looking for an adequate singer.
