Johnnie Bolin (Tommy Bolin's brother/drummer) and producer Greg Hampton have compiled the second of their planned series of Tommy Bolin (late DEEP PURPLE, JAMES GANG guitarist) CDs and DVD. The new CD, Whips And Roses II, taken from a quip Tommy mentioned in an interview with writer Art Connor, features the following

Whips And Roses II is due out on September 22nd in Germany, the 25th throughout the rest of Europe and the 26th in North America. Bolin had lived a short but productive life. After opening up for JEFF BECK in Miami, Florida on December 3, 1976, Bolin was found unconsciousness at his hotel. When paramedics arrived, Tommy Bolin was pronounced dead. He was 25 years old.
