| MOB RULES Offer A Look Inside Forthcoming Album, Announce Home Town Release Party
As previously reported, SPV/Steamhammer have announced that MOB RULES' new studio album, Ethnolution A.D., will be released on October 20th in Germany and October 23rd in the rest of Europe with a North American release date to be announced later. The band has issued the following overview of the forthcoming album:
"That´s a musicians life: the press got aware of the latest album and hands down its release whereas we get a push to do the final finishing. But right here - right now: It´s done, the latest album. Ethnolution A.D. will surprise all of our fans.
First: The album´s peak and smasher is the pentamerous title song with a length of 25min. really having monumental dimensions. Let us just give you a little teaser: This is the most diversified and progressive song we have ever written and recorded. It holds typical Mob Rules hymns , a sharp-edged thrasher and a song where even QUEENSRYCHE doesn´t have to be ashamed of.
We have arranged two intros at a PINK FLOYD style. The lyrics take an exciting 'parforce-tour' through ethnological problems and their causes during the past 100 years of human´s history, starting at Ku-Klux-Clan, getting to the wall coming down and the conflicts in the Middle-East ( more in the news than ever).
Second: As a collaboration with Chris Wolff, himself been a long-term member of RAGE and the designer of the Lingua Mortis album, we have composed a little symphony closing down our new album. Strictly speaking, no guts no glory – therefore this album sounds out the creative spectrum at an exceptional way.
Third: Sven Lüdke, best known as a member for the last two years coming to Mob Rules in 2004, himself being an excellent performer with the guitar starts to a new horizon. He is giving his debut as a composer, designer and outstanding soloist. Sven as a perfect member for the band has pushed us to unknown dimensions. Everyone, who has enjoyed his live performance would agree on him being a musican of an international character.
Fourth: At the same time of the new album we would like to announce our new bass player, Markus Brinkmann. He has joined us for Thorsten Plorin, who was with us for the last ten years. We also would like to thank Thorsten very much for his work during the past time and look forward to the upcoming successful work with Markus: Welcome on board, Mr. 'Brinkmän'.
Last but not least: Ethnolution A.D. has been produced again by Markus Teske (VANDEN PLAS, SAGA etc.), quasi the 'Hesse – connection' , garnishing the album with a fantastic sound without a nervous breakdown. We really know our special ticks within the production, so many thanks for not booking the loony bin.
Ethnolution A.D.'s release is planned for the 20 October 2006 with Steamhammer/SPV starting a great release concert at the Pumpwerk/ Wilhelmshaven. That´s the first chance for you to get the new sound of Ethnolution A.D. as well as our classics again.
Did you join us with the takes for Signs Of The Time DVD? Then you know our home games and the great ball we have. This year´s release will show new highlights so make sure to get your ticket. We really look forward to fans from England, Switzerland, France and Holland, who announced being with us this year.
So far, so good! More informaton on the album is on the line, but let us give you the final words: get ready for the 20 October, drop anything from phone to work and join both: The party and the release of Ethnolution A.D." | |
