| ALICE COOPER Checks In From RussiaThe following report is courtesy of RIA Novosti. Famous proto-shock rocker ALICE COOPER is again in the capital of Russia November 21-22 to give two nights of scary performances as part of his Psycho-Drama world tour 2007. Speaking at a Tuesday press conference, the 59-year-old rock star, who has played in Moscow twice before in 2000 and 2002, said he liked performing here and really rates the energetic Russian audience. "The audience is like in the mid-West in the US," he said. "We [the musicians] are expecting high energy from them." The legendary showman, who inspired such rock musicians as KISS, OZZY OSBOURNE, ROB ZOMBIE and many others, said he was inspired by the famous Spanish surrealist painter Salvador Dali. He said that with his shows and music he wanted the audience to use their imagination just like looking at Dali's masterpieces: "As an artist I make you use your imagination." When asked about his other plans while in Moscow, Cooper said that he plans to spend most of the time shopping with his wife and daughter, who are accompanying him on this tour. "I am doing my Christmas shopping. Everyone has asked me to bring something from Russia," Cooper said adding that he really admired Moscow, which "in the last 10 years has become more vital, more energized." After the Moscow concerts Alice Cooper will move onto Finland, Sweden, Denmark, Latvia and Estonia.

| ALICE COOPER Hits Moscow With Gore And More The following review is courtesy of RIA Novosti: Rock star ALICE COOPER gave a sold-out performance in a Moscow night club on Wednesday (November 21st), thrilling his fans with a selection of tracks both old and new. The first half of the concert was devoted to songs from Cooper's post-2000 period, and lacked the gruesome special effects and props which the 59-year-old musician has made his trademark. However, following a long drum solo that divided the performance in two, Cooper launched into his 1975 'Welcome To My Nightmare' hit, the track signaling the start of the blood and guts. First Cooper's daughter appeared on stage in a revealing white dress accompanied by evil ghouls and other bloodsucking freaks. She was also pushing a pram containing a small child. Cooper then realistically cut his daughter's throat, the blood splashing onto audience members, before launching a violent attack on the infant. After this, Cooper went on to splatter more blood on the audience, also performing songs from his earlier periods, including 'Elected' and 'Dirty Diamonds'. Cooper is set to give his second and final Moscow show tonight (November 22nd).

| ALICE COOPER Unveils The Rock Teen Music Center at Grand Canyon University
According to the PR Newswire, ALICE COOPER and 2007 American Idol winner JORDIN SPARKS yesterday (December 14th) dedicated the site of a real-life school of rock complete with a multi-use concert hall, recording studio and sound rooms.
The dedication ceremony began with Cooper making a flamboyant entry to the site riding a backhoe to music performed live by local teen garage band THE SILENT CRY. Cooper was followed by Sparks, ensconced in a Corvette convertible, to commemorate the ground on which a 29,000-square-foot, $7 million teen center titled The Rock will be built at Grand Canyon University, one of the nation's fastest-growing Arizona's leading higher education institutions.
It's all an effort led by Cooper and supported by Sparks - both Christians raised in Phoenix - to keep teens on the straight and narrow, away from crime and drugs, and having fun and learning. Both Cooper and Sparks have ties to Grand Canyon University - Cooper, a long-time contributor to Grand Canyon University (GCU), supports scholarships and received an honorary doctorate there. Sparks, whose grandmother is a GCU alumnus, designated The Rock as one of the charities to which she would donate a portion of her winnings.
Grand Canyon University CEO Brent Richardson will join Cooper and Sparks on-stage to ceremoniously dedicate the site to the community. A special Thank You banner was presented to Cooper by members of local community youth programs.
The Rock will offer a variety of after-school programs and special events for area youth. The facility is designed to provide a safe, fun place for area teens to gather and participate in program activities that will make a difference in their lives.
The Rock will include a coffee house with kitchen and snack bar, indoor basketball courts, rock climbing walls, computer/study rooms and a game room. Concerts from youth bands will be planned and other special events are envisioned in partnership with community and church organizations.
Grand Canyon University also plans to work with Solid Rock Foundation to help coordinate volunteer and educational opportunities, as well as youth activity programming.
"With Grand Canyon University's support, we are fulfilling a vision we've had for several years -- to provide teens and children with a central place to learn, have fun, and explore their creativity in a supportive environment," says Alice Cooper, Solid Rock's chairman. "I hope that in years to come, The Rock will be the first of many such teen centers in Arizona and around the country."
"Grand Canyon University welcomes Solid Rock Foundation to our expanding campus," Richardson says. "We look forward to supporting area youth when 'School's Out.' Not only is Alice Cooper a GCU honorary degree holder but our heritage and values-based educational approach fit well with Solid Rock's goals. We look forward to a beautiful facility and fulfilling relationship."
