| TRIXTER se reforment pour une tournée US, une petite video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eo1-CWKMhZELate '80s/early '90s hard rockers TRIXTER will reunite for a tour in 2008, the group's guitarist Steve Brown revealed during a recent appearance on the "Red & Jerry's Rockin' Metal Revival" radio show. Although no official timetable has yet been set for the reunion, Brown stated that the trek would most likely take place "in the spring or summertime." Formed in Paramus, New Jersey in 1984, TRIXTER's self-titled debut album attained gold status (reaching #28 on The Billboard 200 in 1990), and spawned three minor hit singles: "Surrender" (#72), "One In A Million" (#75), and "Give It To Me Good" (#65). Despite the fact that none of the singles made the Top 40 or garnered much radio airplay, the videos for all three tunes were in heavy rotation on MTV (especially "Give It To Me Good", which was #1 on the channel for several weeks). A follow-up effort, "Hear", came out in 1992, but failed to reach the same commercial heights. The band recorded an album of cover songs, "Undercovers", in 1994, which garnered little commercial success, and TRIXTER broke up shortly after its release. Today, the former TRIXTER members are working on various solo projects while drummer Mark Scott owns a successful restaurant, The Copper Bottom, in the Village of Florida, New York. PJ Farley is currently the bass player for the band RA. | |

| TRIXTER Guitarist Added To VINNIE VINCENT Tribute; Sample Available Founding TRIXTER guitarist Steve Brown has been added to the roster of the upcoming tribute album KISS My Ankh: A Tribute To VINNIE VINCENT. In an oddly appropriate twist of phrase, the man known for the #1 Dial MTV hit 'One In A Million' will tackle the underground KISS favorite 'A Million To One'. Steve's contribution will be an elaborate acoustic rendition of the song, putting a fresh new spin on the 25-year-old classic. A 30-second sample of the song is now available at the SplitScreen Entertainment website. Steve Brown currently fronts the modern rock act STEREO FALLOUT and is expected to reunite with his Trixter bandmates for select live dates in 2008, including the massive Rocklahoma festival in July. Though Vinnie Vincent himself has not released any new material in over a decade, KISS My Ankh will pay tribute to the undeniable musical legacy of the former KISS guitarist. Vinnie's compositions are widely regarded as a highlight of the KISS catalog and remain a staple of the live KISS set list. Included on the tribute will be selections from the three KISS albums to which Vinnie contributed, as well as the two albums he released with the VINNIE VINCENT INVASION. Additional artists and track listings will be announced as they are confirmed. Further details can be found at the SplitScreen Entertainment website. KISS My Ankh is scheduled for a Summer 2008 release. | |

| TRIXTER Guitarist And EDDIE TRUNK Discuss Upcoming VINNIE VINCENT Tribute Album As previously reported, founding TRIXTER guitarist Steve Brown will appear on the upcoming tribute album KISS My Ankh: A Tribute To VINNIE VINCENT. BW&BK has received the following press release: Steve Brown's new recording of the underground KISS track 'A Million To One', a song co-written by Paul Stanley and Vinnie Vincent, premiered during the May 30th episode of nationally syndicated radio program Friday Night Rocks. In the studio with DJ Eddie Trunk were Steve and his Trixter bandmate Mark "Gus" Scott, who were there to promote the upcoming Trixter reunion. Also discussed was Steve's new cover of 'A Million To One', which will receive its official release on the upcoming tribute album KISS My Ankh: A Tribute To Vinnie Vincent. "It's just an amazing concept and that's why I signed on to the project," remarked Brown during the broadcast. "I mean, who would think to do a Vinnie Vincent tribute album? I just thought that was so funny! But Vinnie was a great guitar player and a great songwriter." "You can laugh all you want about the fact that there's a Vinnie Vincent tribute album," offered Trunk, "but he was a huge part of the reason why KISS had a career in the '80s. He wrote 'Lick It Up' and all that great stuff. No matter what state the band is in now, Vinnie was a huge contributor to their success." Trunk further added, "You've got to hear Steve's version of 'A Million To One' because he did such a great job on it. He covered one of my favorite songs from a non-original Kiss lineup and he did such a different, cool version of it that I was just blown away. I only play one ballad per show, so I'm going to play it tonight." Ed later ended the program by selecting the song for his closing ballad. Steve's interpretation of 'A Million To One' is an elaborate acoustic rendition of the song, putting a fresh new spin on the 25-year-old classic. A 30-second sample of the song is available at the SplitScreen Entertainment website. Steve Brown currently fronts the modern rock act STERO FALLOUT and is expected to reunite with his Trixter bandmates for select live dates in 2008, including the massive Rocklahoma festival in July. | |
