IRON FIRE To Begin Recording September 1st

Vocalist Martin Steene (IRON FIRE, FORCE OF EVIL) has posted the following update at the official Iron Fire website:

"Hail all my fellow warriors..

The time has come for the recording of a new Iron Fire album; we are starting on the first of September and will be mixing in late December.

The mix will be done by Fredrik Nordstrom at Fredman Studio.

This will be the first Iron Fire album without Tommy Hansen behind the mixing disk, it's a scary thing for me personally to do a production without Tommy which has become a big part of the Iron Fire family over the years but we had an opening with Fredrik and we took it, we hope and think that he will push our sound to new heights.

Another thing witch will be new on the next album is that there will be 3 songs written by Kirk Backarach and 1 song written by Martin Lund, it is the first time in Iron Fire history that I share song writing and I'm sure it will bring new and fresh energy to our music.

We will try to bring you some photos and studio reports along the way of the recording and revile album and song titles.

So stay tuned for a little look inside the dungeon where we create the fourth Iron Fire opus.

As for the our cancelling at the DRAGONFORCE show in Copenhagen I would like to point out that we had nothing to do with that, it was all a big and embarrassing mistake from the Booker.

We hope to make up for it some time soon.

IRON FIRE - New Album Complete, Audio Sample Online; Confirmed To Open For KAMELOT In Copenhagen

IRON FIRE have completed their new album, Blade Of Triumph, which is due to be released via Napalm Records on June 29th in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and in the rest of the world on July 2nd. The song 'Bridges Will Burn', taken from the new album, is currently available for streaming at the band's official MySpace page.

More album details will be revealed soon.

In other news, Iron Fire will open for KAMELOT on May 17th in Copenhagen, Denmark at The Rock.

IRON FIRE Parts Ways With Drummer; Announce Replacement

Danish metallers IRON FIRE have parted ways with drummer Jens Berglid. The group's official statement on the matter reads as follows:

"After three years and two albums Jens B has decided to leave Iron Fire due to family issues. We have known this for quit some time now, but we did not want to go official with the news before we where sure to have the right replacement for Jens. After months of auditions we found the Danish metal machine with the German name Fritz Wagner, he will be the new drummer of Iron Fire and we are really exited to have some new energy in the band. Now we can finally focus on writing new songs and get ready for the Tour Of Triumph that will hit the road later this year. We wish Jens the best of luck in the future with his family and his other bands and welcome Fritz Wagner into the brotherhood. News about the Tour Of Triumph will be posted as soon things are confirmed
