L.A. GUNS - Phil Lewis Lands Movie Role L.A. GUNS vocalist
Phil Lewis has issued the following bulletin:
"I have been given the part of
Dr. Gordon, a man with connections to Satan who’s voodoo powers are used in a murder for hire scheme. It’s a great story and I’m looking forward to dressing up and over-acting. If you go to You Tube and type 'I Dream Of Dracula' you’ll see a trailer for Jim Haggarty’s earlier movie. I guess the person who was doing it originally flaked and while he watched us play Long Island a couple of weeks ago, decided I’d be perfect for the role and ya know I think he may be right.
I’m filming in NYC right after Albany, should take a day or two. Last time I was on screen talking not singing, was Melrose Place years ago. So I may be a bit rusty but I’m told Jim's a great director and works very quickly, so I won't have to deliver the same lines over and over ad nauseam.
BTW, the movie's called Witchmaster General and one of the guys from The Sopranos will be playing my nemesis."
