THE POODLES Vocalist Jacob Samuel: "We Are Still Very Hungry For Success" Spain's Hall Of Metal has issued an interview with
THE POODLES singer
Jacob Samuel. The following is an excerpt from the interview, conducted by Danyfender:
Q: Is the weight of the band something you all share, roughly speaking, or on the other hand Pontus Norgren and you are the brains behind the group?
A: "The Poodles is a band effort and we all try to carry as much of the weight as we can."
Q: What memories do you keep from your performance in that melodic contest you participated in with Night Of Passion in order to represent Sweden in the Eurovision festival?
A: "Performing in the Eurovision Song Contest in Sweden was a great experience. It is an extremely well organized and professional event. We had a lot of fun but of course it’s a bit nerve wrecking to go out as a brand new band and perform live on television in front of millions of people."
Q: In your country you are achieving a huge success, it can be said that The Poodles are going sky-high. How does the band face this fact? Are you hungry for success or you are being cautious?
A: "We are still very hungry for success. We still have a lot of countries in the world left to conquer."
