MORGANA LEFAY Begin Recording New Album, Studio Diary Online


MORGANA LEFAY have posted the following update at their official website:

"We are now starting to record our new album in the Studio Soundcreation in Bollnäs, Sweden (the same as Grand Materia). You can follow our progress and ask some questions in the Forum under Studio Diary 2006 You need to be registered to write because of the spammers.

Again, thanks for this awesome summer!"

As reported on May 5th, drummer Robin Engström announced his departure from the band due to "due to personal differences." He has been replaced by Pelle Åkerlind (LEDNOTE, ROCK TOOLS and live session drummer with BLOOD BOUND).

As previously reported, MORGANA LEFAY are currently in the studio working on the follow-up to Grand Materia. The band has posted the following studio updates at the band's official website:

"The basic guitars were finished today. We started our quest for the perfect mean, but still fat bass sound. Think we found something that will work and kick some ass.

Still haven't found the perfect bass though. The quest continues....

A shitload of new pictures up now under Studio Pictures -06.

As previously reported, MORGANA LEFAY are currently in the studio working on the follow-up to Grand Materia. The band has issued the following update:

"We are still in the studio recording our new album in the Studio Soundcreation, Bollnäs, Sweden (the same as Grand Materia).

We have now been in the studio for 53 days and have started to mix.

We have also performed on the 34.000 Tons Of Metal boat. We will perform in Luxembourg November 5th.
