FOREIGNER Leader Happy With How Lineup Has Come Together
Launch Radio Networks has issued the following report from Bruce Simon:
Over the past few years, guitarist Mick Jones has put FOREIGNER back together, and he's really proud of how things have turned out.
The band now features lead singer Kelly Hansen, drummer Jason Bonham, and bassist Jeff Pilson, as well as long-time Foreigner hands Thom Gimbel on guitar and saxophone and Jeff Jacobs on keyboards.
They've played a lot of shows over the past year, and Jones told us he loves how the guys have come together: "It's kind of exciting, because every few weeks, we do something a little different. We're much, I would say, slicker on stage, you know, we, we play off each other more. Everybody's personality is, is coming out, in a really good way. And I'm very, very happy with the progress."
Foreigner's next show is tomorrow (Friday, September 1st) at the Shenandoah County Fair in Woodstock, Virginia.
Original Foreigner singer Lou Gramm tours with his own band, and they'll be at the Black River Falls Festival in Black River Falls, Wisconsin, tomorrow.
Gramm has been working on a Christian album for some time, but there's no word on when it might be released.
