AFTER ALL To Complete New Album In OctoberBelgian thrashers
AFTER ALL have issued the following update:
"On June 29, we had the great pleasure of playing at the Graspop Metal Meeting in Belgium. With over 140,000 visitors, this was the biggest edition of the festival yet – no surprise with headliners such as
IRON MAIDEN, JUDAS PRIEST and
KISS. After All had the honour to be part of the festivities! We definitely had a blast and want to thank all who came out and supported us. The reaction to our set was amazing and it was good to see a lot of familiar faces in the crowd.
One of Belgium's most respected newspapers De Morgen considered our gig at Graspop as one of the top four of the whole weekend, together with
MINISTRY, CAVALERA CONSPIRACY and
AT THE GATES. How cool is that! Check the article here.
Right on time for the summer season, we got some cool After All caps and belts in store. Check them out
here.
After All spent most of June at the Hype Studio in Mechelen, Belgium recording basic tracks for six scorching new After All tracks. A nice little intro, outro and a cover tune were recorded as well. Early October we resume recording, finishing the June session and adding another three or four extra songs.
Dee J. is in charge of the recording, assisted by X-tof. After All guitarist Drieze is producing and overseeing the operation, as usual. Mixing and mastering duties will be handled by Dan Swanö (
EDGE OF SANITY, HAIL OF BULLETS, NOVEMBERS DOOM) at the legendary Unisound Studio in Örebro, Sweden.
The new album is set for a late 2008 release on Dockyard 1 in Europe and on Locomotive Records in the US."
