ALICE COOPER, MARILYN MANSON, BILLY IDOL, Olympic gold-medalist snowboarder Shaun White, Seth Green, NEIL DIAMOND, pro-BMXer Carey Hart, Mark McGrath, Billy Morrison (CAMP FREDDY), ALICE IN CHAINS, Appolonia Kotera (shopping for long-time friend PRINCE), Billy Duffy (THE CULT), Rikki Rockett (POISON) and Harry Morton (Viper Room owner) are among the diverse folks dropping by to shop at Sorum Noce, the new West Hollywood, CA boutique founded by famed drummer Matt Sorum (VELVET REVOLVER, ex-GUNS N' ROSES) with longtime friend, veteran fashion designer and business partner Max Noce.

Together, they've created an elegant, innovative line of rock-inspired men’s couture. As noted in a Los Angeles Times feature (4/20/08), “The Sorum Noce boutique, which the drummer designed, is beachy and British Goth at the same time, with white beams on the ceiling, black lacquered rococo-style chairs, silver wall sconces and a patchwork Union Jack rug.”

VELVET REVOLVER Drummer Matt Sorum To Guest On SAMMY HAGAR's Upcoming Solo Album

Matt Sorum - renowned drummer for VELVET REVOLVER, who are working on new material - is keeping busy with a variety of projects this summer. This Thursday, July 17, CAMP FREDDY - featuring SORUM and bandmates Billy Morrison, Dave Navarro, Donovan Leitch and Chris Chaney - will play the “Stamping Out Disease” benefit gig at the Viper Room in West Hollywood. Proceeds of this show will go towards helping to offset medical costs for music industry veteran and Camp Freddy road manager Scott P, who has been diagnosed with cancer. The band will also auction off a Les Paul guitar from the stage (donated by Gibson Guitars) which will be signed by every performer that evening. Tickets are $50 and available at this location.

On Saturday, July 19, Camp Freddy head to Las Vegas to play the grand opening of the new Wasted Space nightclub at the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. The classy, yet punk rock attire worn by the club’s bartenders and waitresses was designed by Sorum Noce, the high-end line of rock couture from Sorum and veteran fashion designer Max Noce. (Sorum Noce will also be featured at the July 23 Summer Style Series at Le Deux Café in Hollywood.) Wasted Space was conceptualized by action sports star Carey Hart and is a lavishly decadent rock club that brings authentic high-end rock n’ roll culture to Las Vegas, creating a one-of-a-kind nightlife experience. The all-female trailblazing punk rock dance troupe - ACE, GINA, Jersey, Lindsey, Megan and BC--is currently recording their debut CD with Sorum and Stevie Salas (guitarist for MICK JAGGER, ROD STEWART, GEORGE CLINTON) producing and Chris Lord Alge (GREEN DAY, B.B. KING, THE BLACK EYED PEAS, BAD RELIGION) mixing.

In other news, Sorum will be recording a song in San Francisco with Sammy Hagar, original VAN HALEN bassist Michael Anthony and guitarist Billy Duffy of THE CULT for Sammy’s upcoming solo album, marking a reunion in the studio for Sorum - who was The Cult’s drummer - and Duffy.
