BUCKCHERRY Post Two New Tracks Online

BUCKCHERRY have updated the player on their MySpace page, to stream the tracks 'Don't Go Away' and 'Rescue Me', lifted from the band's new album, Black Butterfly, due for release on September 16th.

BUCKCHERRY - JVC Mobile Entertainment Honors Members With Award To Commemorate 2 Million Viral Video Views

On August 2nd, JVC Mobile Entertainment (www.mobile.jvc.com
), leading developer and manufacturer of sophisticated mobile, audio, and video products, gave Jacoby Shaddix of PAPA ROACH and Josh Todd of BUCKCHERRY an award to commemorate 2 million views of the 'Turn Me On' viral video, backstage at Crüe Fest in San Bernardino, CA.

On May 15th, 2008, JVC Mobile released the 'Turn Me On' viral video featuring both platinum selling artists to promote the El Kameleon DVD/CD Receiver on Heavy.com (www.heavy.com/video/47843). With media partners Heavy.com, Streetfire.net, and Spin Magazine, the ground breaking viral video, created by Danny Klein of agency e2amp, has set new records for co-producers, www.Heavy.com . Heavy has assisted by providing strategic video placement, front door presence, and custom channeling through their online network of 17 million unique visitors per month, and seeded the video to over 400 lifestyle websites.

To date the video has delivered more than 25 million media impressions and has a total of 2,653,997 streams, with over 8,300 embeds, making it the most successful viral program Heavy.com has ever delivered. Additionally there have been 73, 911 streams of the behind the scenes and making of video. Both Buckcherry and Papa Roach have supported the video by featuring it on their websites and MySpace pages.

The double platinum plaques were awarded to the artists by Chad Vogelsong, General Manager, Marketing for JVC Mobile Entertainment. “We couldn't be more excited to honor these guys. Their support behind this campaign is appreciated and we're looking forward to another 2 million views,” states Vogelsong.

Buckcherry will release Black Butterfly (Eleven Seven Music/Atlantic) on September 16th. Featuring the song 'Too Drunk...', the CD is highly anticipated as a follow up to their Platinum and Grammy Nominated 15. BUCKCHERRY - Venue Change For Charlotte Date

BUCKCHERRY have announced that their October 8th gig in Charlotte, NC has changed venues. The show will now take place at Amos' Southend.

Buckcherry recently scored their first Top 10 album on the SoundScan/Billboard 200 album chart with Black Butterfly, the follow-up to 2006's RIAA-certified platinum 15.

Black Butterfly debuted at #8 on the chart, the highest debuting rock album.

"Black Butterfly", the new album from the California rock band BUCKCHERRY, has been certified gold in Canada for sales in excess of 50,000 copies. The CD sold just under 47,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to enter The Billboard 200 chart at position No. 8. It follows up 2006's "15", which marked a huge comeback for the band after it was left for dead in 2002. "15" sold more than one million copies and produced several hit singles, with the song "Crazy Bitch" becoming one of the most popular ringtones ever.

"Black Butterfly" has sold 112,000 copies in the United States so far, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

BUCKCHERRY guitarist Keith Nelson and vocalist Josh Todd were recently interviewed on the rooftop of TV Guide. Watch the four-minute chat below.

BUCKCHERRY came onto the scene in 1999 with its self-titled debut album, which went gold. But its 2001 sophomore effort, "Time Bomb", was a sales disappointment, leading singer Josh Todd and guitarist Keith Nelson to put the band on ice until 2005.

Todd and Nelson are the only original members still in the group. During BUCKCHERRY's hiatus they were involved with an early version of VELVET REVOLVER.
