| JOE PERRY PROJECT Singer To Headline Limelight Magazine Music Awards; Late BOSTON Singer To Be Honored According to Southcoasttoday.com, The Narrows Center for the Arts in Fall River, Massachusetts will be hosting the first annual Limelight Magazine Music Awards ceremony on Sunday, Jan. 25, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The live music event will honor the best bands and musicians from New England that were selected by readers of the magazine in an online poll. Co-headlining the event will be Charlie Farren, lead singer of FARRENHEIT and the former lead singer of the JOE PERRY PROJECT, and MASS. Other featured performers include: ALAN ARENA, SAMUEL BOWEN, THE CANDACE BROOKS BAND, GENERATION DOWN, THE GREAT ESCAPE - A TRIBUTE TO JOURNEY, THE FEW, and SHRYNE.
As part of the event, a silent auction will be held to benefit the Brad Delp Foundation, a non-profit, charitable entity, that was created for the purpose of carrying on the former BOSTON, BEATLEJUICE and RTZ frontman's legacy of compassion, generosity, and kindness. The foundation seeks to honor Delp's memory by awarding music related grants, scholarships and funding for school music programs.
