BLACK CROWES' Chris Robinson Files For Divorce
Reuters reports:
Three months after their separation was made public, rock singer Chris Robinson filed for divorce on Friday from actress Kate Hudson, his wife of nearly six years, court papers revealed.
Robinson, 39, cited irreconcilable differences and is seeking joint custody of the couple's 2-year-old son, Ryder, according to a divorce petition first made public by the celebrity news Web site TMZ.com.
TMZ reported that the couple, who married on New Year's Eve in 2000, had a prenuptial agreement.
Hudson, 27, acknowledged through her publicist in mid-August that she and Robinson were splitting.
At the time, it was rumored she was romantically involved with her You, Me And Dupree co-star, Owen Wilson. Hudson and Wilson have denied that, according to TMZ.
Hudson, the daughter of actress Goldie Hawn, became a star in her own right after playing the rock groupie Penny Lane in the 2000 film Almost Famous, which earned her an Oscar nomination.
