DOWN Confirmed For 10 Dates On Upcoming HEAVEN AND HELL Tour; MOTÖRHEAD Participation In Question
New Orleans based metallers DOWN, who feature in their ranks guitarist/vocalist Pepper Keenan (CORROSION OF CONFORMITY), drummer Jimmy Bower (EYEHATEGOD, SUPERJOINT RITUAL guitarist), guitarist Kirk Windstein (CROWBAR), and vocalist Philip Anselmo (SUPERJOINT RITUAL, ex-PANTERA), have confirmed their involvement in the upcoming HEAVEN AND HELL tour. The band will play 10 dates on the tour. Details to follow.
Meanwhile, BW&BK sources that previously announced MOTÖRHEAD's involvement in the tour, now state that the band may not be included on the dates. Stay tuned for further updates on the situation.
Heaven And Hell, the band featuring RONNIE JAMES DIO (vocals), Tony Iommi (guitar - BLACK SABBATH), Geezer Butler (bass - Black Sabbath) and Vinnie Appice (drums), will play the following Canadian dates, with more to be confirmed:
March 3 at Venue TBA in Vancouver, BC
22 at Air Canada Center in Toronto, ON
25 at Bell Centre in Montreal, QC
26 at Colisee in Quebec City, QC
As previously reported, Heaven And Hell will be commencing their World Tour in Vancouver, BC on March 3rd and they will play at least seven shows across Canada (other stops may include Ottawa and London). Venue sizes will range from 5-10,000 seaters. Other possible countries include South America, Japan, Korea, Australia and Europe before returning to North America for a US tour in August.
