SAVATAGE - Pro-Shot Live Footage From Dynamo '96 Available

Pro-shot live footage of SAVATAGE performing 'Dead Winter Dead' at the Dynamo Festival in Holland in 1996 has surfaced on YouTube. Go to this location to check it out. The footage was shot by German video channel VIVA TV for their now defunct metal program, Metalla.

As previously reported, live bootleg footage from 1981 of original Savatage guitarist Criss Oliva performing VAN HALEN's 'Erution/You Really Got Me' when the band was still called AVATAR is now available on YouTube. Go to this location to check it out.

SAVATAGE - Very Rare AVATAR Recordings Up For Sale On eBay

A CD featuring very rare and unreleased AVATAR (pre-SAVATAGE) recordings featuring guitarist Criss Oliva and vocalist Jon Oliva - entitled The Hammer Comes Down - is up for auction on eBay. According to the auction it is an Omerta Records release imported from Italy featuring a laser printed full-colour cover/back insert and a factory made CD. Some of the songs include

'No More Saturday Night',
'Love Me Just A Little Bit',
'Ordinary Situation'
'When the Hammer Comes Down'.
