CELESTY - Antti for Finnish Idol!
After the successfull release of the third part of their Power Metal concept
trilogy 'Mortal Mind Creation', CELESTY singer Antti took on the next quest:
Antti took part in the Finnish version of 'American Idol', simply called
"Idols". All over the country 2000 competed to get to the quarter finals -
and only 80 got there, among them Antti as one of 16 candidates picked from
Oulu,the next big city center for the Celesty boys - and Antti was among
them! If you know a little Finnish - check that out at MTV Finland!
AS WE FIGHT - new videos and tourdates
AS WE FIGHT were the Danish Dynamite in the All-German line-up of the
VAINSTREAM pre-christmas European tour featuring other artists like CALIBAN,
HEAVEN SHALL BURN and NEAERA. After proving their class and kicking ass in
the midst of those big names, they're back on tour now: Check the dates for
the huge tour all through Denmark and the upcoming European dates!
If you wanna get a feeling what you missed watch the new live video of
'Escaping The Poisoned Hands Of Despair', recorded on the show in Belgium.
SAVAGE CIRCUS - upcoming DVD and tour with CIRCLE II CIRCLE
Only a few people could see SAVAGE CIRCUS live and kicking in 2005 & 2006.
To mend this and to give you a chance to see this band on their few but
great gigs we will release "Live In Atlanta" on DVD end of February! See the
band playing on the great setting of the ProgPower USA VII in Atlanta/GA.

The release date for 'Release Date' is set - the follow-up to last year's
"Blood Sample" will be in the shelves on February 26th. To give you a first
impression they shot a rockumentary to the song "Wish I Could Heal". Watch
and listen this new song on their Myspace.
ABANDONED - regular video updates from the Kohlekeller
ABANDONED are in Kohlekeller Studios right now to record the follow-up to
thei debut "Thrash Notes". To show they haven't left the way of oldschool
Bay Area sound by an inch this new Thrash Metal grenade is named 'Thrash
Files'.
And as usual there's plenty of unforseeable events happening in a studio. If
you wanna have a really good laugh watch the video diary on their Myspace
page. Most of them are bilingual. The fourth edition is already up!

DREAMLAND updated their webpage:

Don Dokken Remember DOKKEN? Remember »Tooth And Nail« (1984)? »Under Lock And Key«
(1985)? Or even »Back For The Attack« (1987)? After this you could obviously
see the end of creativity among this American band, and all those reunion,
comeback and whatever tries to to tie up to old success were mostly shallow.
But who wants to know how DOKKEN could sound today if the scuffle between
Don Dokken and his introverted guitar player George Lynch hasn't ended the
creative phase of the band, just has to listen to the new output "Eye For An
Eye" of Sweden's DREAMLAND! Catchy melodies, wonderful chorusses, string
power galore - and everything un-wrapped by a modern sound! Everything a
Dokken fan can only dream off. Almost as if Dokken and Lynch lived in Sweden
nowadays!
VANISHING POINT - new drummer and news about new album
The vacancy on the drum stool was short, Christian Nativo is replacing Chris
Lukic!
"Previous to VANISHING POINT I have been playing in Melbourne metal band PTB
(POWERS THAT BE) and doing freelance/session work for bands all around
Melbourne and Interstate," Nativo writes on VANISHING POINT's web site. "I
feel extremely honored to be playing music with such a talented group of
musicians and I look forward to meeting you all on the road and at the
shows."
The band states about the upcoming album:
"OK, the new album... So far we have some album titles but nothing concrete.
There will be an anouncement in the next couple of months. To be honest,
with all that's been going on and the hectic schedule of the recording we
have had our focus there... Which brings us to the album and how it is
shaping up... So far, so good, the album musically is a little heavier than
usual, but for
VANISHING POINT fans it is a step up and musically it is
melodic, bombastic, dynamic, quicker and suprise suprise... shorter than
'Embrace The Silence'. The music is completed, just doing edits at the
moment on the drums and keyboards which will be finished by years end.
Silvio will be in the studio the first week of January to start the vocals
and will continue on until the album is finished. All in all we expect the
album to be completed by April. We wanted to finish it earlier but we can't
and have to be respectful to other bands who are to use the studio as well,
if you ask us...
