"Hi all...
Had a great time in Malibu this past week. I went out to visit my good friends
'Marc Rock Star' Kancler and his brother Kris.
Marc designed the current
www.chriscaffery.com and is working on a new one to coincide with the release of House Of Insanity on iTunes on October 28th.
I call Marc 'Rock Star' because he has legally changed his name to Rock Star. Yes, it is on his drivers license, credit cards, etc. His place in Malibu is awesome. Bruce Willis' old house right next door to Halle Berry's!
The brothers are working on a new book, TV show and CD. I am going to help them produce the CD and was asked by the producer and the brothers if I would be a regular guest on the TV show. That would be fun!
Thursday I went into Bob Kulick's studio to record guitars for a song I wrote with Ripper for his new solo CD. The song is called 'The Shadows Are Alive'. Frickin heavy tune! The studio is called Office Studios. Great place, it was awesome to work with Bob and his engineer Brett.

The drums were played by Simon Wright and I believe bass is coming soon from Mr. Rudy Sarzo! Not sure of Ripper's plan of attack but he said I could let you all know about the recording...this CD is going to smoke!
I am going to spend the next two weeks rehearsing for my solo gigs. Then I need to finish up the mastering of the new CD and start to prepare for the next TSO tour. I have some other writing and studio work to do as well.
I thought I may have gotten some rest this year...I guess not!!!
The response on the new CD has been awesome. I am really proud of it and can't wait for it to be released! I am looking at Feb. 9th as a shelf date for the CD in stores, web retail and the rest of the digital world.
