IRON MAIDEN - Austrian Pre-Release Party For Live After Death Double DVD

Austrian IRON MAIDEN site Maiden Austria United (www.maidenaustria.at ) has announced a pre-release party for Iron Maiden's History of Iron Maiden Pt.II / Live after Death DVD on January 29th at Planet Music in Vienna, Austria.

The party will feature a performance from Austrian Iron Maiden cover band Maiden für Jeden, screening of Iron Maiden's 1985-Long Beach gig, and a lucky draw offering Iron Maiden goodies.

IRON MAIDEN - Live After Death DVD Preview Pictures Available

Maiden Austria United has revealed some preview pictures of the promotional copy from IRON MAIDEN's anxiously-awaited DVD release Live After Death, the legendary recording of their four night stand at Long Beach Arena, California, in 1984. The DVD is due out via EMI on February 5th in North America. The Live After Death DVD release will coincide with the start of the band’s Somewhere Back In Time World Tour on which they will recreate many of the aspects of this original and spectacular show.

IRON MAIDEN - Live After Death Printed Sleeve Discrepancy Revealed

IRON MAIDEN - Live After Deat Double DVD 82477

IRON MAIDEN Project Manager Dave Pattenden has issued the following update:

"As most of you know Live after Death is released on February 4 (5th in North America) and having just received our advance copies we've noted a slight timing discrepancy on the printed sleeve. All our advertising states '5 hours of full-on' Maiden, yet on the back of the DVD the Duration box reads that for Disc 1 it is 90 minutes in length and Disc 2 'Extras' approx 150 minutes in length (i.e. implying a total running time of 240 minutes).

This printed figure of 150 minutes for the 'Extras' is in fact incorrect and a print error - the extras actually run for approximately 231 minutes in total. So the total running time for both Disk 1 and Disk 2 is a massive 5 hours and 21 minutes.

To be totally clear the running times for all the content On Disk 2 are broken down as follows (all timings approximate) -

History Of Iron Maiden - Part 2 - 60 mins
Behind the Iron Curtain - 57 mins
Rock in Rio - 50 mins
Ello Texas - 15 mins
Video and photo and artwork galleries (promo videos,etc) - 49 minutes

Total - 231 minutes.

Thought we would let you know before someone spots it and complains about the confusion!!
Its actually well over 5 hours advertised!! Hope you enjoy it as much as I have!!!
