ELIS' Sandra Schleret In The Studio






Liechtenstein-based metallers ELIS have issued the following update:

"Sandra is at the moment is in the Mastersound Studio to record the vocals for the next Elis album.

Says Sandra: "It is the first full length album we are recording together, and an important step for us. For me this album is something very special, because I was able to contribute a lot , and I developed a very personal concept for it, even though it will not be a real concept-album.

I'm having great fun at the recordings, and I can't wait to hold the final result in my hands."

ELIS - Pictures From Vocal Recording Sessions For New Album Available






ELIS have posted pictures from the vocal recording sessions for their new album, Catharsis, at this location.

As previously reported, bassist Tom Saxer recorded growling vocals for the new album. He recently issued the following update:

"The vocals are done and my voice is gone. I've never had so much singing to do on our past records like I had on Catharsis. It was fun to stretch my voice to the limit and I'm proud of the result. There will be also a couple of surprises, which we never had this way before on an Elis album, so be prepared!"
