Avec des albums classiques comme "Commandos", "Stage Dolls" et "Stripped", STAGE DOLLS a dominé la scène musicale norvégienne dans les 80’s et le début des 90’s. Le groupe a constamment tourné en Norvège, et connu le succès aux USA où le single "Love Cries" fut classé dans le Billboard top 100 (46#), et l'album éponyme classé (3#) dans le Album Rock Charts.

STAGE DOLLS SIGN TO AOR HEAVEN FOR EUROPE:
Munich based label AOR Heaven is happy to announce the signing of Norwegian Melodic Rock legends Stage Dolls for the territory of Europe (without Scandinavia). The band is currently in the studio working on their yet untitled release which will appear in stores in Spring 2009. Today, Stage Dolls exist of founding members Torstein Flakne (v., g.) and Terje Storli (b.) plus drummer Morten Skogstadt (ex-TNT) who joined the band in 1992.
Founded in 1983 in Trondheim, Norway Stage Dolls belong to the veterans of the Norwegian Rock scene and also are one of the most successful bands coming out of this country up to today. Albums such as "Soldiers Gun" (1983), "Commandos" (1986) and "Stage Dolls" (1989) still belong to the favorites of many classic Hard Rock fans and - next to their close buddies TNT - made them become the leading force in Norway when it comes to Rock Music. In their 25 year long existence, Stage Dolls have in total released six studio albums, numerous compilations and live records, and been on the road permamently as headliner - mainly in Norway - and as support band for Mr. Big, TNT, Blue Murder, Warrant, Faster Pussycat and many others. Stage Dolls also wrote and recorded the club anthem for Norway's leading soccer club Rosenborg Trondheim.
Torstein Flakne comments: "We're really looking forward to come to Germany and play in January. It's been a long time since we were there so it will be a thrill to meet our fans. The new album will be ready in the Spring of 2009 and we are very pleased so far with the recordings."
Stage Dolls will play their first gig in Germany in more than 20 years on January 31st, 2009 at the Rock Over Munich Festival at the Metropolis Club in Munich, Germany.
