KING DIAMOND - New Album To Be Mixed On March 5th

KING DIAMOND's website has been updated as follows:

"King is at the moment still writing lyrics. Mixing of the new King Diamond album will commence on March 5 in Dallas, TX. We hope to deliver the master by April 1st. No firm release date is given yet. More news as we have it!"

As previously reported, King Diamond's as-yet-untitled new CD will feature 13 tracks, including an intro. Five of the new songs are written by guitarist Andy La Rocque. King Diamond's last studio album was 2002's The Puppet Master.

KING DIAMOND ont achevé l'enregistrement de la basse, batterie et guitare rythmique de leur prochain album, dont la sortie est prévue début 2007. Il contiendra treize titres, donc cinq ont été écrits par le guitariste Andy La Rocque.

KING DIAMOND guitarist Andy La Rocque is back home in Sweden after "a very heavy and intense mixing session" in Dallas, Texas with the band's singer/namesake King Diamond on the group's long-awaited new album, "Gimme Your Soul ... Please". "It's definitely the best songs and production we've had in years! A rollercoaster of atmospheres and horror is a good way of describing" the new CD.

"Gimme Your Soul ... Please", will be released in North America on June 26 via Metal Blade Records. Massacre Records will issue the album in Germany on June 29.
