DREAM THEATER - Systematic Chaos Pre-Listening Party In Italy Next Saturday

DREAM THEATER's upcoming album, Systematic Chaos, will be released on Tuesday, June 5th via Roadrunner Records.

An official "Tribute Night and Pre-Listening Party" is scheduled for next Saturday, May 26th at Sottosopra Rock Zone in Este (PD), Italy.

A message at the Dream Theater website reads: "Saturday, May 26th Italian Dreamers and Roadrunner Italy present the new Dream Theater album Systematic Chaos.

A 2 hour 30 minute concert from the new "official" Italian Dream Theater tribute band, YTSEJAMKR, will be mixed with the pre-listening of the new Dream Theater album. A Dream Theater full immersion night waiting the exit of Systematic Chaos, expected in Italy for Friday, June 1st, and the Dream Theater concert in Milan on Sunday, June 3rd in occasion of italian Gods Of Metal Festival.

Ticket cost 10 Euro.

Legendary progressive metal act DREAM THEATER recently launched their North American summer headlining tour, kicking off July 24th in San Diego, CA.

Dream Theater will be taking the headlining reigns, performing songs from their Roadrunner Records debut, Systematic Chaos, as well as compositions from their genre defining back catalogue, with Canadian stops in Quebec City, Montreal and Toronto.

For Toronto fans, the band will be hosting an autograph session prior to their performance at the Molson Amphitheatre on Saturday, August 18th.

This in-store autograph session will take place at the HMV flagship store located at 333 Yonge Street at 1 PM (EST). There is a wristband policy in effect and is on a first come first serve basis, so be sure to arrive early as autographs cannot be guaranteed based on time constraints.

Their ninth studio album, Systematic Chaos was released on June 5th and has been received with solid critical and fan acclaim. The tour will further solidify the band’s legendary technical prowess, capturing a time when the quartet have reached their artistic Zen, hailed by Billboard Magazine as “the genre’s [Prog] poster child.”

Dream Theater has just released a music video for their first single, 'Constant Motion'. Directed by Andrew Bennett (DEFTONES, VAN HALEN, THE DRESDEN DOLLS), the video highlights a technically induced performance by the band coupled with an animated spin-off of the album cover art, created by Hugh Syme (RUSH, IRON MAIDEN, MEGADETH).
