LIZZY BORDEN Post Pics From Video Shoot For 'Tomorrow Never Comes'


California metallers LIZZY BORDEN check in with the following update:

"Hello All, Lizzy here, just wanted to say what a great time we had filming our new video for 'Tomorrow Never Comes'. We had an amazing cast of characters performing in this mini-film, along with a great crew guiding us through our goal of over 90 shots. I think you all are going to love this tale of ‘The Lost One’ in a Twilight Zone episode.

When you all buy our new CD Appointment With Death (available October 30th) you will get the lyrics to ‘Tomorrow Never Comes’ and see why our heroine (in the video) is trying so hard to get to "tomorrow", but as the song goes, she never does. Look out for the video coming soon.

We made some great friends on this one day ‘run and gun’ shoot and we have the pictures to prove it. Click here to find some pictures of us and the full cast on the set during the "making of" 'Tomorrow Never Comes'.

Also, for all of you on the East Coast, we are launching AWD with some Halloween CD release parties where we will be performing songs from Appointment With Death, as well as some of the Borden fan faves. We are also very happy to announce that JACK FROST will be sitting in with us again (as he did so brilliantly at the New England metal fest) as a second guitarist.

Bassist Marten Andersson (LIZZY BORDEN, STARWOOD) has issued the following update:

"The new Lizzy Borden CD, Appointment With Death, is in stores/iTunes in North America (with a very special last minute digital re-mastering by Tom Baker (ROB ZOMBIE, MARILYN MANSON, JUDAS PRIEST). The video we shoot for the new song ('Tomorrow Never Comes') should be coming out shortly so look for it. Thanks to the hardcore Lizzy fans who came out for our CD release parties on the east coast. It was a a lot of fun. I hope you loved the new stuff live as well. I hope to see you all on the full tour next year."

Indie 103.1 FM's Chaos With Full Metal Jackie program will play host to LIZZY BORDEN on Sunday, December 9th at 11 PM (PST), 1 AM (EST). During the show, Jackie will be giving away tickets to the Metal Blade Christmas party at the Galaxy Theater in Santa Ana, California on December 20th, which Lizzy will be playing along with JOB FOR A COWBOY, AS I LAY DYING, BRAIN DRILL and HATCHET. LIZZY BORDEN Schedules Private Showcase Gig In California

LIZZY BORDEN have announced they will be performing a special live show in Van Nuys, California on March 25th, where they will perform songs from their latest CD, Appointment With Death. The gig will be performed at a privately owned showcase studio, and is not open to the public. The show will be filmed for possible inclusion in a future Lizzy Borden video. It is expected to last for one hour with a meet and greet following the performance.

Borden told BW&BK recently that he calls the album “traditional Lizzy. As always, there is a theme and this one is death. The artwork (courtesy of Ralis Khan) on the front sleeve depicts me as an Angel Of Death character. The term "‘death’ refers to the end of something, so that allowed us to work with a broad brush.”

Musically the album seems heavier, especially in the guitar area. “Our guitarist, Ira Black has brought that heavier element to the band, and in addition, the whole band pitched in on the writing of the band, bringing many different ideas. Additionally, we had a number of guests on this album from a wide variety of metal backgrounds, so their ideas come from all over the place.”

LIZZY BORDEN Issues Sweden Rock Video Postcard

LIZZY BORDEN has posted a video postcard of the bands performance at this year's Sweden Rock festival.

A message at the band's site reads: "The 1:37 second clip futures an in-store appearance/meet and greet, a photo shoot with Sweden’s own Micke Johansson, As well as Lizzy Borden Live on stage performing at the festival.
