DEF LEPPARD - Grand Rapids, MI Show Still Uncertain

According to The DEF LEPPARD Satellite Of Love the status of the April 18th Def Leppard show at Van Andel Arena, Grand Rapids, MI is still in question according to The Grand Rapids Press. An update regarding the sold-out show will be announced on Monday by tour promoter, LiveNation. "However, local fans are hopeful Elliott is much better before the Van Andel Arena concert Friday. Def Leppard's Web site shows this weekend's concerts were the only ones postponed."

Guitarist Phil Collen spoke to BW&BK this past Friday about the band cancelling shows in Quebec City, QC, Ottawa, ON, Hamilton, ON and Winnipeg, MB: "Joe (Elliott - vocals) and I came down with a virus - they thought it was pneumonia, but it's not.... but we both have lost our voices and there was just no way to do the shows. We are currently holed up in Quebec City."

Collen also added that drummer Rick Allen threw out his back and he's also laid-up.
