NEVERMORE - Fans Invited To Submit Pictures From This Godless Endeavor Tour Cycle For Forthcoming DVD




NEVERMORE have issued the following press release with regards to their forthcoming live DVD / CD, The Year Of The Voyager:

In July 2005, Nevermore released their latest studio album, This Godless Endeavor, which became their biggest success in a career that started 16 years and 6 albums ago back in 1992. The touring cycle for This Godless Endeavor began July 21st, 2005 with the North American Gigantour supporting MEGADETH and DREAM THEATER. Since then, Nevermore played close to 200 shows in 23 countries, all over Europe, Japan, Australia, Brazil, North America, and on August 14th, they will even play in Tel Aviv, Israel at the Anthem Metal Festival (together with their label mates DARK TRANQUILLITY and THE HAUNTED).

In October 2008, Nevermore will release their first ever DVD and Live album The Year Of The Voyager.

The Year Of The Voyager covers the This Godless Endeavor touring cycle featuring amazing, live footage from the 2005 U.S. Gigantour, the 2006 Metal Mania Festival in Poland, the 2006 Wacken Festival in Germany and the main DVD showcasing their live set recorded at the Zeche Bochum in Germany on October 11th, 2006.

The bonus material includes two songs from the Century Media USA 10th Anniversary Party in 2001, all promo videos and an interview with Warrel Dane which was recorded at the Roax Film Studios in Berlin during the Spring of 2008.

To thank all of the worldwide fans that helped the band make This Godless Endeavor their biggest success yet, Nevermore are asking you to send them your photos with the band from signing sessions and meet & greets during the tour cycle (found here). Ten of the best photos will be printed in the DVD/Live album booklet and the names of the fans whose photos are chosen as the ten best will be named in the thanks list.

2) Label your photo with information on where it was taken e.g. Which tour, which venue, what year, etc. You can also add more in the description section.

Rules:
-- By submitting a photo, you are agreeing to have your image displayed on Nevermore's public photo album. If you are chosen as a winner, you will be notified to sign a photo release form giving us permission to use your photo in the upcoming Nevermore DVD.

-- Photos should be from signing sessions, meet & greets, backstage, etc. No "Live" photos will be considered. If you have a friend in the photo with you, you need to provide contact information for them as well, and they must agree to the sign the release form.

-- All photos must belong to you! Submitting other people's images is NOT allowed.

NEVERMORE Post New Trailer For The Year Of The Voyager Live Album/DVD

NEVERMORE will release their first official DVD/Live album, The Year Of The Voyager, in autumn 2008.

It covers the This Godless Endeavor touring cycle starting with amazing live footage from the US Gigantour 2005, the Metal Mania Festival 2006 in Poland, the Wacken Festival 2006 in Germany whereas the main DVD show was recorded at the Zeche Bochum in Germany October 11th, 2006.

Bonus material includes two songs from Century Media USA 10th Anniversary Party 2001, all promo videos and an interview with Warrel Dane which was recorded at the Roax Film Studios in Berlin in Spring 2008.

The Year Of The Voyager will be released as Ltd. Edition 2DVD plus 2CD, Standard 2DVD, Standard 2CD and Ltd. 3LP (the latter two containing the audio from the main show in Bochum only) on October 20th in Europe, November 11th in the US.

The Year Of The Voyager, the first official DVD by Seattle metallers NEVERMORE has entered the German DVD charts at #82 and the band has posted the following statement regarding this phenomenal success:
