LITA FORD proved she’s still got insane guitar chops at Hard Rock Café Hollywood on Thursday. The event was presented by Hard Rock International’s Pinktober campaign, which raises awareness and funds for breast cancer research throughout October. Proceeds benefited Susan G. Komen Foundation’s Miami/Fort Lauderdale Chapter. This cause is especially close to Ford’s heart. She lost her mom Isabella “Lisa” Ford to breast cancer in 1990. During the event, Ford belted out old hits such as
“Close My Eyes Forever,” “Hungry” and
“Kiss Me Deadly” while fans sipped pink cocktails and reminisced about the decade of excess when everyone had more hair and money.
