NIGHTWISH - Tonight's Knoxville Show Cancelled
NIGHTWISH has issued the following update:
"
Nightwish's show tonight in Knoxville is cancelled due to Anette's (Olzon) sudden severe illness. We will keep you informed about the situation of the remaining US shows. We are very, very sorry about this, there's nothing anybody can do about these things. Even though
SONATA ARCTICA will play tonight, all the tickets will be fully refunded by the promoter."
On September 2, Nightwish released a digital-only collection of demos and B-sides titled The Sound Of Nightwish Reborn. This release, which clocks in at nearly 70 minutes of music, contains album B-sides like
'Escapist' and
'While Your Lips Are Still Red', and rare demo recordings from the days before Annette Olzen was chosen to front the band. The set features bassist and co-vocalist Marco Tapani Hietala handling the vocals, as well as B-sides.
